how it will work
The market contract is written and tested. These are its rules, not our intentions.
your pet never leaves your wallet
Listing is not a deposit. There is no escrow and no vault: the Tamabit sits in your wallet the whole time it is listed, and only moves in the same transaction that pays you.
the market never holds money
A sale splits the payment to you and the fee inside one transaction. The contract keeps no balance, so there is nothing to drain and nothing to withdraw.
priced in USDC
The same token you pay network fees in on Arc. No wrapped token, no second currency to learn.
2.5% fee, and that is all
Taken from the sale price. The rest goes straight to the seller. The fee is capped in the contract, so it can never be raised past 5% even by us, and a change never touches a listing that is already open.
list, reprice, cancel, any time
You keep control of your own listing while it is up. Change the price or pull it whenever you want, with no waiting period.
a stale listing cannot cost a buyer
If a listed pet is moved away or its approval is revoked, the sale reverts instead of taking money. The buyer pays gas and nothing else, and whoever holds the pet can clear the dead listing.

one market for arc, not just for us
Tamabits is the first collection to trade here, and we do not intend it to be the last. The aim is to open the same market to other collections on Arc: the same no-escrow rules, the same USDC pricing, the same protection against stale listings, with each collection keeping its own listings and its own floor.
Being straight about the state of it: the collection contract holds one collection, fixed at deploy and unchangeable. Serving more of Arc means a second contract, written and audited on its own terms. It is the direction, not a date, and nothing above depends on it.
