how it worked

the first mint was closed
It stopped at 844 of 3,000 and we closed both mints for good. Those tokens are now free to move, and nothing more will ever be minted from that contract.

the snapshot could not be gamed
Transfers were locked on that contract for its whole life, so every holder was the wallet that minted. The list was taken at block 22,238,315, after the mints were closed, so nobody could buy in or shuffle tokens to grow an allocation.

a new contract, already revealed
1,808 pets, no mint, no price, no payable function. Every one was pushed to a wallet on the list, then the supply was sealed forever and the art was revealed.

nothing is locked
Trading opened the moment the drop was sealed. Your pets are yours to hold, move, or sell wherever Arc NFTs trade.

the first collection is retired
It was the record of who qualified, nothing more. It was never revealed and never will be, and it carries no benefits. Everything Tamabits builds from here belongs to the 1,808 pets in the new collection.

check it yourself
The recipient list was fixed before the contract existed. Its hash is stored in the contract as an immutable value, so anyone can hash the published list and compare. If they do not match, the drop did not follow the list.

Only the 1,808 pets in this contract carry anything Tamabits builds: the market, rest, upgrades, $BITS and whatever comes after. That number is final. The supply is sealed, so there is no second wave, no public mint and no way for anyone to add one, us included.
The first collection was the snapshot we measured the airdrop against, and it is finished. It was never revealed, it never will be, and it grants nothing. Its tokens can still change hands, because that contract promised its holders trading could never be locked again once opened and we are keeping that promise, but nothing is attached to them.
