It is a pixel pet collection whose art lives fully on Arc. Most NFTs, on Arc and elsewhere, only store a link to an image kept on IPFS or a server. Tamabits store the pets themselves.

Each pet is a 24×24 one-bit picture, just 72 bytes. The whole collection is about 216 KB, small enough to store on chain for a few dollars in network fees.

A sha256 fingerprint of all 3,000 pictures in token order, published before mint. After reveal, anyone can hash the on-chain art and confirm it matches.

No. No two pets share the same set of traits or the same picture, and no two share the same creature (family, eyes, mouth, headwear and marking), so there are no twins that only differ in background.

Every pet is drawn by a generator from hand-made pixel parts. Bodies are drawn as a left half and mirrored, so every pet is symmetric. Combinations that do not fit, like a beanie on a pet with ears, are thrown out.

Preview pets can be downloaded from their page as a 1200 px PNG or the original SVG. The rest can be downloaded after reveal.

Common, uncommon, epic, legendary and mythic. There are 1,800 common, 750 uncommon, 300 epic, 120 legendary and 30 mythic pets.

Pets are ranked by the rarest trait they carry, then by how rare their full set of traits is. The ranking is split into the fixed quotas above. The rarity page explains every step.

1,500 Tamabits are a free mint. You only pay the network fee. The other 1,500 are a paid mint at a price announced later.

The date is announced before minting opens, together with the rules and the limit per wallet.

So every pet is a surprise. A preview shows the style, and the rest of the collection is revealed after mint.
