mint questions
Is the free mint really free?
Yes. The 1,500 free Tamabits cost nothing to mint. You only pay the Arc network fee, which is paid in USDC.
When does mint open?
The date is announced before minting opens, together with the rules and the limit per wallet.
What does the paid mint cost?
The price for the other 1,500 is announced later.
Why is the collection locked?
So every pet is a surprise. A preview of 16 shows the style, the provenance hash proves the art is already fixed, and the rest are revealed after mint.
What does fully on-chain mean?
The pixels and traits of every pet are stored on Arc and the contract draws the picture. There is no image file on IPFS or a server that could disappear.
What is the provenance hash?
A fingerprint of all 3,000 pictures in token order, published before mint. After reveal, anyone can hash the on-chain art and see it matches, so nothing was swapped.
What do I need to mint?
A wallet connected to Arc and a little USDC for the network fee.
